This is how I voted... and of course, how you should too!
- Proposition 13 - Limits on property tax assessment - seismic retrofitting of existing buildings. Legislative constitutional amendment.
YES... a straightforward fix to existing law. - Proposition 14 - Elections. Increases right to participate in primary elections
NO... will favor incumbents and limit voter choice. - Proposition 15 - California fair elections act
NO... will lead towards taxpayer funded campaign welfare, diluting free speech of private campaign funding. - Proposition 16 - Imposes new two-thirds voter approval requirement for local public electricity providers. Initiative constitutional amendment.
NO... 2/3 majority is an unjustified hurdle, since PG&E gets government licenses for it's monopoly. - Proposition 17 - Allows auto insurance companies to base their prices in part on a driver's history of insurance coverage. Initiative statute.
YES... fixes a dumb restriction in place from Prop 103.
